Cash Cow Contest--ON HIATUS FOR 2009
Improve your Japanese/English skill level!!
In a nutshell: Read the question and send your answer to us. At the end of the year we will award the cash prize to the person with the highest point total.
How often will questions appear? Often, so check back daily.
Are all questions of equal value? No, the point value of each question is indicated in the brackets. However, if a contestant answers correctly, but the response is not the first correct answer, then that contestant is awarded 50% of the points for the question.
Does it cost to play? There is no cost to play and no registration. No strings attached. Just send your answer. That's it.

Cash Cow Contest Rules
1. Contest open to all.
2. Questions will be posted often so check back daily.
3. Questions have different values. i.e., some questions may be worth one point, others maybe worth two, three, or even four points.
4. Entrant with the first correct response for a question receives credit. However, if a contestant answers correctly, but the response is not the first correct answer, then that contestant is awarded 50% of the points for the question.
5. At the end of the year, the entrant with the highest point total will receive $100.00 mailed to his/her address. Amount of prize money may be increased depending on the number of contestants. There maybe a 2nd or a 3rd place prize, depending on the number of entrants.
6. Questions may be asked in Japanese or English and are found on this website page.
7. Correct spelling counts. Misspelled words are counted as incorrect answers.
8. Contest answers are to be submitted to: contest@englishjapaneseonlinedictionary.com
9. Please provide an identifying name which can be used to post standings on this page. You can use a nickname, if you like.
10. Decisions of the judges are final.
11. This Cash Prize contest is intended to improve the Japanese/English skill level of contestants world-wide.
